I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and moved to the U.S. at the age of three, settling in Northern Virginia. As an immigrant, I’ve had firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities that come with navigating life in this country, and these experiences have shaped my approach to work and advocacy.

I’m deeply passionate about education, as I was the first in my family to graduate from university. My journey has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of learning which is what brought me to create the social media page We Vote VA as a way to provide clear, accurate, and unbiased information about Virginia politics, news, and elections. Through my work, I grew the account to over 16,000 followers and had the privilege of coordinating GOTV events with organizations like Vote411, Vote Early Day, Virginia21, Black Girls Vote, helping to mobilize and engage communities.

Professionally, I’ve worked on a variety of digital strategies and campaigns focused on empowering communities on the margins. At Somos Votantes, I led initiatives aimed at connecting with and amplifying the voices of the Latino community. I managed a network of over 100 Latino creators and activated more than 50 across multiple campaigns, creating content that resonates deeply with Latinos.

I’m also a member of the Board of Directors for PLIED, where I support efforts to empower the next generation of progressive leaders.

At The Hub Project, I led creator programs focusing on key issues, including the economy and key local issues, while building strategies that connected diverse voices to the causes we care about. I also developed and managed multiple websites and SMS programs.

I began my journey at Blue Future as an intern and eventually became the Digital Director. There, I helped organize and train over 1,100 youth organizers, connect with over 670,000 voters, and support progressive campaigns that led to meaningful wins.

As I continue my work in digital, I remain committed to ensuring that diverse voices are heard and that we create spaces for communities to engage in the political process. I am always open to new collaborations with leaders who share a vision of inclusive, impactful change.

Outside of work, you’ll find me on the farm, hiking, cooking or starting a new art project.
